TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - As students at the University of Arizona return, so does the late night service for the Sun Link streetcar.

Beginning Thursday, Jan. 10 and running to May 11 the streetcar will run until 2 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with regular hours continuing for Monday to Wednesday, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

To ride the streetcar, 1-Day SunGO Tickets are available for $4.50 at any one of the streetcar stops. Riders can also purchase a SunGO Card or download the GoTucson Transit mobile app to pay for a Single Boarding Fare with cash value or load a 1-Day, 3-Day or 30-Day Pass. SunGO Cards are available online or at any sales outlet.

Each passenger is required to have a SunGO Card or Ticket, as cash is not accepted once on the streetcar. Children five years of age and younger can ride Sun Link free with a paying passenger.
