Wolves score four in the 1st and cruise past Roadrunners

Central-leading Chicago put Tucson in an early hole Friday night at Tucson Arena

TUCSON, AZ - Chicago dominated the opening period Friday night at Tucson Arena, scoring four goals on their way to a 6-3 in over Tucson.

AHL leading scorer Daniel Carr etched the first of the night for the Wolves.

Following the third goal, Tucson netminder Calvin Pickard was removed from the contest in favor of Hunter Miska. Pickard was making his third consecutive start for the Roadrunners (19-10-3-1).

Tomas Hyka had a hat trick for Chicago (22-12-3-1).

The two teams wrap up their series on Saturday night at 9 p.m.
