TPD: Fake gun causes lockdown at Tucson school

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - A student with a toy gun caused a temporary lockdown at a middle school in Tucson Monday, Feb. 11.

The Tucson Police Department said they was called out to Magee Middle School following reports of an armed student on campus.

The TPD said it turned out to be a toy gun and there were no injuries.

The school went on a brief lockdown until officers were able to clear the scene.

No word on if any arrests were made.
