UPDATE: Authorities arrest man in connection with San Tan Valley shooting

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD News 13) - A San Tan Valley man that Pinal County Sheriff’s deputies were seeking in connection with a shooting has been arrested.

According to information from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office dated Monday, Feb. 11, 21-year-old Dominick McCoy was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on warrants.

The Feb. 6 shooting at a park left one person seriously hurt.

The incident happened shortly after 1 a.m.

The sheriff’s office identified McCoy as one of possibly three men allegedly connected with the shooting.

Deputies said they are looking to identify two other men for their involvement in the incident.

The 21-year-old victim is being treated at a hospital and is said to be in critical condition.
