GREEN VALLEY, AZ (GVNews.com) - The driver who fatally struck a cyclist has pleaded resonsible for two traffic violations amounting to $254 in fines.
Green Valley resident David Armstrong, 76, admitted responsibility for 'overtaking bicycles - fatal' and 'driving in the bike lane.'
Eighty-four-year-old Jerome Featherman was killed cycling Sept. 3 when Armstrong swerved into the bicycle land and struck him from behind.
Featherman was riding correctly in the lane midday while wearing a helmet and reflective vest, deputies said.
