TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - A historic local movie theater is closing down.
The De Anza Drive-In theater has been a fixture in Tucson for nearly sixty years.
It's the city's last remaining drive-in.
The theatre has been losing money and it recently came under new ownership.
Saturday is the last night it remains open.
Fans arrived early to catch one last show before the screens turn dark.
The new owners have no plans to tear down the drive-in right away, but there is talk it could be replaced with a retail complex.
