High School Students Suspended For Videotaping Girls

By Paul Cicala News 13 Reporter

Some Southern Arizona students may be looking at criminal charges after some unauthorized access to a girls' locker room. They're accused of using a video camera to tape students in the girls locker room through a hole in the wall.

It happened at Valley Union High School in Elfrida, North of Douglas. The students have been suspended while Cochise County Sheriff's detectives investigate.

The two accused seniors are suspended, meaning they won't be able to take part in graduation ceremonies.

Valley Union High Principal Ray Shelton says, "In thirty years in education, this is one of the most unusual circumstances I've had to deal with."

The two suspects could face charges of: Felony Ease Dropping, Misdemeanor Interfering With A Learning Institution, and Misdemeanor Criminal Damage.
