Tucson, AZ (KOLD) - Former head basketball coach Lute Olson seems to only miss one thing about his time at Arizona. It's not the games. It's not the recruiting. It's certainly not the media.

"The only thing I miss are practices," said Olson. "I love to teach and I love the individual attention that you can direct to the players."

It was Olson who was receiving the attention Thursday afternoon during his annual Lunch with Lute, a benefit raising funds for the Arizona Arthritis Center. Former Wildcat Joseph Blair gave Coach O his introduction while current Wildcat leader Sean Miller was the keynote speaker.

Olson weighed in on what he believes will be a promising 2010-2011 campaign for Miller and the Cats.

"You look at it last year, they had a lot of freshmen and sophomores," said Olson. "This year there will still only be one senior (Jamelle Horne). I always said when I was coaching, the biggest change you're going to see is between their freshman and sophomore year. They finish that freshman season and begin working toward that sophomore season knowing exactly what they need to do."

As for how Coach Olson is keeping busy in retirement, it appears he's catching up on his golf game. Although truth be told, he said his exercise comes in the form of chasing balls in the desert.
