Military spouses put together cards and care packages for troops

By Van Nguyen - email

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Military moms and spouses are putting together care packages to send to troops overseas.

Members of the Tucson Area Marine Moms organized a luncheon Saturday.

They made greeting cards for troops and asked the public to sign them.

The cards will be mailed, along with care packages to deployed troops and to those wounded service-members recovering in hospitals.

They're still collecting tooth brushes, tooth paste, and heavy gloves.
