    The Trust for Public Land transferred 44 acres to Saguaro National Park (East district) located north of Vail, on Wednesday, March 22 according to a recent release.  The new acreage adds a critical water resource to SNP east.

    Officials with the Coronado National Forest are requesting public comment on the Draft Report of the Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis (EE/CA) for the Mansfield Canyon Watershed Mines: Hosey Mine and Dixie Mine (Site), two abandoned mines located on the Nogales Ranger District, Santa Cruz County, Nogales, Arizona.

    A young bald eagle has finally been settled into a nest, thanks to a little help from biologists with the Arizona Game and Fish Department. The biologists rescued the eaglet on June 7, 2016, after it had fallen from its nest near Becker Lake.
