Although I miss the Minnesota Twins, I don't miss driving through blizzards.
With an infant and two toddlers in tow, my husband and I made the move from Minnesota to Tucson in 1993. That seems like only yesterday, but my girls are now all nearly grown up!
One of them will be attending the University of Minnesota - my alma mater.
It did not take long for me to fall in love with the climate and community of Southern Arizona. I am blessed to be living and working here.
For many years, I hosted a morning program on KWFM radio, leaving there to be the host of "The Buzz" on Tucson's WB station in 2000.
When WB58 decided to create the first Tucson News at Nine, I was the weather-caster while Heather Rowe sat behind the anchor desk.
It's not so strange to find both of us now at KOLD News 13... WB News First at Nine was produced in the same studio.
It is terrific to be back among friends!
