Kevin Adger joined the Fox 11 News in April of 2010.
Before coming to the Old Pueblo, Kevin was working just up I-10 in Phoenix for KTVK. He started as a writer for Good Morning Arizona in November of 2006. Then in February of 2008 he worked his way up to associate producer of GMAZ. In August of 2009, Kevin helped with the launch of 3TV's high school sports show, the Varsity Zone. He reported live from football and basketball games and did various stories on high school athletes in the Valley of the Sun.
Kevin received his B.A. in Television Broadcasting from Barton College in Wilson, NC. During his last year of school, he co-anchored and reported for a community show for the school's station WEDT. When his days of playing basketball for the Bulldogs were over, Kevin was the color analyst for the games that were broadcast locally.
Some of his internships include working for Top 40 radio station KISS 95.7 in Connecticut and Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh. Where helped with the coverage of the Pittsburgh Steelers and The University of Pittsburgh football and basketball teams.
Kevin is an east coast guy that loves the desert weather, including the 100-plus-degree days of the summer. He was born in Bloomfield, CT, which is a suburb of the capitol, Hartford.
In his spare time, Kevin loves playing basketball, watching or attending sporting events, riding his motorcycle and playing with his two dogs: Brady, who is a cocker spaniel and Jackie, who is a labrador-golden retriever mix.
