Toros set attendance record

By Christina Stymfal - email

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - The Tucson Toros set an attendance record on July 4 with a crowd of 9,158 fans.

Last year, the Toros set a record of 9,038, only to set a new all-time Golden Baseball League single game attendance record this year.

Even though the Tucson Toros lost to the Yuma Scorpions 3-2, the crowd was still treated to the star spangled spectacular fireworks show following the game.

The Toros and Scorpions will play game two of the three game series tomorrow on Retro Monday, starting at 7:00 p.m.
