TUCSON, AZ (KOLD)- International School of Tucson will now operate on solar power. Solon America donated a solar array to the independent school Friday.
The system consists of photo-voltaic panels manufactured at Solon's in Tucson.
The electricity generated will be used by the school, and may even be fed into Tucson Electric Power Company's supply grid, according to Robert Young, Head of International School of Tucson.
