Reward to catch bighorn ram's killer

By Leasa Conze - email

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Arizona Game and Fish is offering an incentive for someone to come forward with information on whomever killed a Rocky Mountain bighorn ram.

The ram was shot west of Alpine over the July 4th weekend and his body was left to rot.

It's a blow to efforts to boost the size of that bighorn population.

Arizona Game and Fish, the Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep Society and the Arizona Bowhunters Association are joining forces to offer a reward up to $6,000 for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the responsible party.
