(KOLD) - State Attorney General Terry Goddard reached an agreement with Publishers' Clearing House to make sure the public knows that you don't have to buy magazines in order to win.
Goddard says the company misled people in the past, when the majority of winners didn't order anything.
Publishers Clearing House agreed to change the wording in its letters and pay the cost of the investigation.
