TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - There are new photos from inside TIRR Herman Memorial in Houston, the hospital where Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords continues her recovery.

Giffords is undergoing aggressive rehabilitation therapy as she recovers from being shot in the head on January 8th during her "Congress on your Corner" event outside the Safeway at Ina and Oracle in Tucson.

In one picture, there is Giffords' chief of staff Pia Carusone and the Congresswoman's sister Melissa, holding her son Fraser.  According to the Chronicle, Carusone now spends most of her time in Giffords' room at TIRR, while coordinating activities between offices in Washington, D.C. and Tucson.  She also keeps Giffords' husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, up-to-date.

In another picture, Giffords' father Spencer is tickling 2 year old Fraser while his dad, Jim Murdoch, holds him.

The pictures were taken Wednesday inside TIRR Herman Memorial.
