Car rolls over Sierra Vista man on Buffalo Soldier Trail

SIERRA VISTA, AZ (KOLD) - A Sierra Vista man was seriously injured late Friday night in a one-car rollover accident at Buffalo Soldier Trail and Avenida Cochise.

Sierra Vista police say the man was traveling at a high rate of speed when he flipped his car and was ejected. 

The car rolled over him, police say, causing severe head trauma.

The man was airlifted from the scene to University Medical Center in Tucson.

Police say the man was coherent and talking as he was being evacuated.
