TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - A murder suspect surrendered to the Pima County SWAT team this morning after barricading himself inside a South Tucson home for six hours.

David A. Gomez was arrested in connection with the murder of Richard Rios, 21, after being forced out by tear gas.

Rios was found shot outside El Dorado Bar in South Tucson on Sept. 9, South Tucson Police said.

Gomez was taken into custody after barricading himself inside a manufactured home in the 10,000 Block of Summitt Creek near south of Hughes Access and Old Nogales Highway.

Two adults and two children left the home voluntarily after Pima County Sheriff's Department deputies arrived on the scene this morning.
