Amber Alert issued for 5-year-old girl

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) – An Amber Alert has been issued for  a 5-year-old girl, who police say was abducted on Wednesday in Glendale, a suburb of Phoenix.

According to Glendale Police, a witness saw someone abduct the girl and drive away in a black 1998-2000 Chevrolet Malibu. Police don't have a license plate number for the car.

Police say the person who picked up the child is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 120 pounds, with black hair worn in a bun and brown eyes. The person was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans that were rolled to mid-calf.

The child, Jahessye Shockley, is described as black, 3 feet, 5 inches, 55 pounds with shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans shorts and pink flip flops.

Anyone with information is asked to call Glendale Police at 623-930-HELP.
