TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - October is not over yet and event's continue with an art auction on Saturday October 29th. From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Toscana Studio & Gallery.

The Studio's "Breasts for Life" project is based on two women who took castings of their busts prior to undergoing mastectomies. The busts have been decorated by 26 artists in the Tucson area and will be for auction at the event.

Also, Saturday a super yummy reason to join the Pretty in Pink screening at the Loft from 9:30am-noon. Mimi's Cafe will be providing baked items for your gastronomic pleasure.

All Mimi's Cafes will also be participating in a special fundraiser for Komen SAZ from 4:00 - 10:00pm on November 2nd and 3rd.

Harley-Davidson of Tucson is hosting its first ever Pink Ribbon Ride. Bikers Against Breast Cancer on Saturday, November 5th beginning at 9:00am. Hit the open road to take in the beauty of Picture Rocks and end up at Redline Sports Grill for a rockin' after party!

Did you miss the Komen/LiveStrong Flash Dance event at Park Place Mall? Get ready to sing a little Kool & The Gang and watch our Komen and LiveStrong supporters shake their groove thing.

I know we seem like we're all fun all the time, but revenue generated by our events make life-saving work possible.

75% of the funds we raise stay in Southern AZ to pay for mammogram's, health education materials and breast cancer treatment. The other 25% goes towards Komen's national research for breast cancer cures.

On Tuesday, November 8th, our office will host a grants workshop program from 4-6pm regarding our newest round of grant funding. Not-for-profit organizations in our service area, which provide breast health and/or breast cancer education, screening and treatment services may be eligible to apply.
