I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. I grew up in Plainfield, Indiana. I went to college at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I had my first job in Terre Haute, Indiana. Needless to say, I am a true Hoosier.
Moving out West was one of the hardest decisions I ever made, but after meeting my beautiful wife, I know it was the right one. My wife Robin and I have a baby girl, Payton Michelle. Our gorgeous little one was born on July 21st, 2009. She is a true miracle!
I was the Sports Director at WTHI in Terre Haute, Indiana before moving out to Tucson and becoming a News Reporter for KOLD. I was promoted to anchor on the Weekends back in January of 2008.
Covering the Phoenix Mars Lander Mission from start to finish has been one of the highlights of my time here in Tucson. Following our local scientists through the planning phases, all the way to launch at Kennedy Space Center.
Another favorite is the Tucson Rodeo. I had never been to a rodeo before coming to Tucson. Now, I can't get enough of them. I've covered six Fiesta de los Vaqueros and try to make it to as many days as I can when the cowboys and cowgirls make their way to the Old Pueblo each February.
I've enjoyed volunteering on many occasions with the Salvation Army. My wife and I love shopping with local students in need before heading back to school. And walking the runway at their annual fashion show is always a good time!
In my spare time I love hanging out with my wife and daughter, watching the Indianapolis Colts and a good game of Texas Hold 'em. Oh yeah.. And a round of golf any chance I get!
