TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A traffic stop ends with a man being arrested with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer charges.

According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, deputies tried to pull over Michael Boulier at Palo Verde Road and 37th Street on Wednesday Jan. 25 around 5:40 p.m.

Bouiler proceeded to run a red light after nearly hitting a motorcycle deputy.

Boulier intentionally slammed on his breaks, attempting to cause another motorcycle deputy to hit him.

After leading deputies on a chase in the Palo Verde Road and Ajo Way area, Boulier eventually abandoned his vehicle and hid under a U-Haul truck.

Bouiler would not comply with commands to come out and subsequently was bitten by a dog from the Sheriff's Department.

Mr. Boulier was arrested and booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center for Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer and Unlawful Flight from Law Enforcement.
