Source: U.S. Customs & Border ProtectionMore than $900,000 worth of marijuana won't be heading to the streets after a find by Border Patrol agents from the Casa Grande Station.
They located a Chevrolet Suburban before dawn Thursday morning laden with marijuana weighing 1,878 pounds and worth $939,000.
The Border Patrol says detection technology tipped agents off. When agents responded, they discovered off-road tire tracks leading to a wash where they found the vehicle abandoned and covered with a camouflage tarp.
Inside the Suburban, agents discovered 100 bundles of marijuana.
