The White House is holding a Hispanic Community Action Summit at Sunnyside High School on Monday, Jan. 30.
The conference is part of a series of gatherings across the country that provide a forum for the Obama Administration to interact and hear from the Hispanic community.
White House and Cabinet agency officials will meet with community leaders in Tucson to discuss topics including jobs and the economy, education, health care, and U.S. immigration system.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. with opening remarks from the Obama Administration followed by a set of open space dialogues.
Members of the public must register in advance to participate at http://go.usa.gov/nj1.
Similar regional meetings were held last year. Conferences will be held in Arizona, Texas, Ohio, and Florida.
