Tucson Police said a 911 caller spotted the body in the wash near 497 West Auto Mall Drive Thursday morning.
Detectives found the victim with obvious signs of trauma. It is unknown at this time if the victim was killed at the scene, or if his body was dumped there after he was killed at another location.
The victim appeared to have died within the past 48 hours, although an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and a more accurate time of death.
