Police looking for Chase Bank robber

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Chase Bank on 2465 North Campbell Avenue was robbed around 12:30 p.m. today, according to Tucson Police.

No one was injured and no weapon was seen or used during the incident.

A man approached the counter and handed the teller a note threatening harm and demanding money. The teller complied and after the man was given an undisclosed amount of money, he walked out.

He was last seen walking in a northwest direction.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 6 feet tall, weighting 150-170 pounds, with short blonde hair.

He was wearing an Oakland Athletics green and yellow baseball hat. But, officers found the hat during their search of the area.

The suspect was also wearing a gray sweatshirt and green pants. He was carrying a green colored backpack.

Detectives from the Robbery Investigative Unit responded to help with the investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or 88-Crime.
