MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A single vehicle rollover accident killed a Tucson man early Saturday morning.

Shortly after 4 a.m. just west of the I-10 on Avra Valley Road, a witness called in to report a crash involving a Chevrolet pick-up, Pima County Sheriff Deputy Dawn M. Barkman said.

The driver, Cordi Aaron Perry, was dead at the scene.

He was wearing his seatbelt at that time, Capt. Adam Goldberg of the Northwest Fire/Rescue District said.

The truck may have hit a guardrail, causing the truck to rollover.

Detectives say speed could be the main cause for the rollover.

The exact time of the collision is still unknown, Barkman said.
