SAN ANTONIO, TX (Tucson News Now) - -

A carnival worker is jailed in San Antonio in connection with the rape and kidnapping of a Tucson woman at knifepoint.

Glen Leo Gagnon is in the Bexar County Jail while he awaits extradition to Arizona.

According to investigators, Gagnon attacked his former girlfriend on January 7.  He's accused of binding and raping the woman after kidnapping her, and locking her in the trunk of her own car.  The woman managed to escape.

The U.S. Marshals Service tracked him to a carnival at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, where he was arrested Sunday.
