TUCSON, AZ (TUCSON NEWS NOW) - A car crash overnight has killed a man.
It happened on South 12th Avenue and West Lerdo late Tuesday night.
Investigators say it was a one vehicle crash that killed the driver, the only person in the SUV.
There is more to the story.
Just before the wreck, police say the driver had been involved in an incident in the drive- thru of the Viva Burrito Restaurant just a few blocks away.
In that incident, the driver rear-ended one vehicle, backed into the front of another, then took off.
Witnesses say the guy crossed a raised median several times and skidded sideways.
He was partially thrown out , and crushed by the weight of the SUV.
Police have not released his name, but say he was about 30 years old.
