TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A new University of Arizona president is just one vote away from taking office.

This Friday, the Arizona Board of Regents is expected to approve Dr. Ann Weaver Hart as the university's 21st president.  Regents will vote on her contract during their regular meeting in Tempe.

Hart is currently the president at Temple University.  She visited the UA campus on Monday to talk to students and faculty.  She is the only candidate the Arizona Board of Regents named for the position.
