TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Arizona Wildcats open the 2012 baseball season tonight against North Dakota State at Hi Corbett Field.

Hi Corbett Field is the former spring training home of the Colorado Rockies.

This year the season will be unlike any other because for the first time fans 21 and older will be able to enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine during the game.

Since the UA campus doesn't have an alcohol permit, any sporting events on campus aren't able to sell alcoholic beverages.

University officials say they hope the venue change and alcohol sales will bring at least $250,000 more than last year.

Beer and wine will be sold until the fifth inning.

First pitch is at 6 p.m.

The Cats face North Dakota State in a three-game series.

Hi Corbett Field is located at 900 South Randolph Way.
