MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Accenture Match Play practice starts today and for all the locals who plan on making the trip out to the tournament this week, there are a few new things you need to know. The Executive Director of the tournament, Gerald Goodman, says these changes will make it easier and more enjoyable for fans to come out and enjoy watching some of  the world's best golfers compete.

The three big changes:

-Cell phones are allowed. There will be designated cell phone areas, where visitors can use their mobile devices. But tournament officials ask that guests still respect the players and keep phones on silent and refrain from picture taking and texting.

-Parking areas are closer. New parking will now be at  Dove Mountain Boulevard and Tangerine Road, shortening bus-shuttle commutes by about 25 minutes.

-'Follow the Leader' day on tournament finale. Fans will be allowed on the fairway on the final day of play to follow the leaders.

Also, children 18 and under are free to attend. Adults can purchase tickets at any Fry's grocery store or at WorldGolfChampionships.com.

The tournament is televised in more than 200 countries, so take advantage of this great event happening in your own backyard and enjoy the great golf, the great venue, and the great weather!
