PHOENIX (Tucson News Now) -
There is an Amber Alert in Arizona for three missing children from Idaho.
According to the Idaho Police Department, the children that were living in Caldwell, Idaho were taken by their mother over the weekend. She did not have custody of the children.
They may be traveling to the Phoenix area and then to Mexico, according to investigators and FBI Special Agents.
Investigative leads show Bertha Sabala Guerrero, 35, has family living in Phoenix and Mexico.
Guerrero is believed to be traveling with 5-year-old Esmerelda Guerrero-Lopez, 7-year-old Mirella Guerrero-Lopez and 9-year-old Ubaldo Guerrero-Lopez Jr.
They may be in a gray or silver 1986 Pontiac 6000, 4 door sedan, with Nevada license plate number 389XPR.
Guerrero lost custody of the children in December 2011 after leaving them with a woman she had just met.
The children were placed in foster care. After 24 hour visitation on Feb. 17, Guerrero did not return the children the next day.
An Amber Alert was issued early Sunday morning.
