Living Museum give students a unique learning opportunity

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

History came alive at Wright Elementary School Tuesday.

University of Arizona Education Majors set up a Living Museum at the school.

They dressed up as Arizona historical figures.

Some represented cowboys and members of the Tohono 'Oodham Nation.

Others were dressed as sailors from the U.S.S. Arizona.

They took and answered questions from elementary students.

Some brought along items that were on loan from the Arizona Historical Society.

The Living Museum gives the students and their student teachers a unique learning opportunity.
