UPDATE: One person in serious condition after train and car collision

MOUNT PLEASANT, TX (KLTV) -

UPDATE: Titus County officials tell KLTV that the 22 year old woman is expected to recover from her injuries. Her name has not yet been released.

 


 

 

UPDATE: Mount Pleasant Police officials tell us they have cleared the scene.


 

UPDATE: Officials tell KLTV that the vehicle was driven by a 22 year old female. She was transported to Titus Regional Medical Center. We are also to a helicopter has been called in to transport her to East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.

Officials say she is in serious to critical condition with head injuries. She was driving a small passenger car.

 


 

 

Mount Pleasant Police officials tell KLTV that one vehicle has been involved in an accident with a passing train.

It happened Saturday evening off of Airport Rd near the intersection of S Jefferson Ave.

Officials tell us Mount Pleasant Police, fire and EMS are all on the scene.
