Tucson Police are investigating a homicide at an apartment in the 100 block of East Blacklidge, near the intersection of Stone Avenue and Fort Lowell Road.
Javier Johansen, 23, was found dead with obvious signs of trauma on March 27.
TPD received a call from a person with information about a murder, including the specific location of the incident.
Officials went to the apartment to perform a welfare check. That is when Johansen was found deceased.
Investigators believe Johansen was murdered between March 18 and March 27.
Police said it is possible Johansen may have been involved in an altercation during a party at or near the apartment.
