Arrest made in case of Christmas gifts stolen from storage unit

Released by the Longview Police Department:

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - On April 3, 2012, Officers arrested Rachel Bradley 39, of Longview, in connection with the Christmas gift thefts that occurred sometime between November 30 and December 7, 2011 from a storage facility on Jahan Trail. 

The presents belonged to the Gregg County Child Welfare Board.  Bradley was indicted by a Gregg County Grand Jury.  Bradley was booked in to the Gregg County Jail on a charge of Theft $1,500<$20K.

    An early morning accident claims the life of a pedestrian on an East Texas train track. Daingerfield police confirm it happened just before 9AM Saturday near the downtown circle of Webb Street and Coffey Street. According to the police department, a man was struck by a train near the location and killed. At this time, it is not known whether the victim was trying to cross the tracks when struck.
