Power outage affects 1,500 TEP customers near Tucson Mall

About 1,500 Tucson Power customers were without electricity of of 9 p.m. because of an outage.

TEP spokesperson Joseph Barrios said the outage occurred in the vicinity of 1st Avenue and River Road, east of Tucson Mall.

He said there's no estimate at this time of when power will be restored.
