Christina Marie Carbone
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
Court records reveal new details about a local teacher sex scandal. A statement from a Pima County Sheriff's detective describes two alleged encounters between Flowing Wells High School special education teacher Christina Marie Carbone and a teen that goes to Rincon High School.
The written statement says the alleged relationship began in March and was "nurtured through telephonic text messages and Facebook communications, developed from a social to a physical relationship."
Court documents say the relationship escalated the night of April 27th when "Ms. Carbone arrived to the juvenile's residence as his parents slept undisturbed and accompanied the juvenile to his bedroom. She engaged in sexual intercourse with the sixteen year old juvenile."
The detective describes a second time where Carbone allegedly visited the house again even as the student's parents were home. When detectives questioned Carbone about a second encounter, the statement says, "she admitted to having sexual intercourse on Sunday April 29, 2012."
Carbone is not in jail. A judge let her go Friday without bond. Her next court appearance is set for April 24th.
