Pima County Sheriff's deputies say it appears there was no attempted abduction Tuesday morning on Tucson's northeast side.
A witness reported seeing a van chasing a teenaged boy on a bike in the area of Ocotillo Drive and Webster Street in northeast Pima County.
Investigators located the driver of the van and interviewed that person.
They concluded there was no attempted abduction, but there may have been some kind of criminal activity going on.
Deputies are still trying to identify the boy on the bicycle.
They recovered the bike at the scene.
