School officials said vandals shattered at least 39 side windows, 4 door windows, and 12 rear and front windows.
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
Vandals broke dozens of windows on school buses belonging to the Tucson Unified School District over the weekend.
The padlocked gates and barbed wire fence were not enough to keep the vandals out.
Police arrested two people after school safety officials notified them of the vandalism at the central school bus yard, located at the corner of Campbell Ave. and Winsett street in the mid-town area.
School officials said at least 39 side windows, 4 door windows, and 12 rear and front windows were shattered by the vandals.
School officials were unavailable for a comment on Sunday.
