TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

After briefing the media on Wednesday with the updates in the search for missing 6-year-old Isabel Celis, the Tucson Police Department released the 911 audio tapes from the morning she was reported missing.

Isabel was reported missing on April 21.

Police Chief Roberto Villaseñor said Isabel's father, Sergio Celis, has been allowed to "move unrestricted" but he is in agreement with Child Protective Services to voluntarily stay away from her two older brothers.

Villaseñor would not comment on the reason for the children's removal.

Police have searched lakes and landfills, contacted all 542 registered sex offenders in the area, and canvassed neighborhoods in an effort to find Isabel, Villaseñor said. But despite being frustrated that she hasn't been found yet, police will continue to search.

"I'm not going to give up hope because even years after the fact, children have been found," Villaseñor said. "Every day makes you a little more worried, but I'm not going to give up hope.

"Sometimes these cases depend on one big break. We're looking for that break."

Villaseñor said the police relationship with the Celis family has become more strained, but he said that's to be expected.

Villaseñor said the next press briefing will be Thursday at 2 p.m. Tucson News Now will stream the briefing live on our live video page.
