Little Isabel's face is plastered all over Mexico and not just along the border but as far as San Carlos, Mexico…and not just flyers but bright banners hanging all around.
Drive through Santa Ana, through Hermosilla, through Guaymas and into San Carlos and the whole way you'll see posters, flyers, and highway banners over bridges of Isabel.
Kristen Briner and Colette Barajas say on their recent trip to Mexico the 6-year-old's picture even hangs over restaurants in Santa Ana and San Carlos.
"For me it felt good that it was true the world is looking for her that it wasn't just our community she was really being looked for," Colette Barajas said.
Tucson police say they've been working with Mexican authorities in the nearly month long search for Isabel.
Federal authorities have been in touch with Mexican police officials who checked hotels, bus terminals and other businesses as they looked for her.
"You just hope people are paying attention. We just found ourselves looking and watching could it be, maybe," Kristen Briner said.
Now back home in Tucson from their trip across the border Kristen and Colette say they're hoping all the international attention makes a difference.
"It just breaks your heart. Children are suppose to be safe in their homes," Briner said.
