Suspicious Vehicle (Source: PCSD)
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
A stranger danger incident was reported by a Catalina Foothills High School student.
According to Pima County sheriffs, the girl was standing at a gas station near Sunrise and Swan between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. today when a man in a vehicle asked if she needed a ride.
Over the past year, the student says the same man has asked her the same thing at least three other times. He did not get out of the vehicle.
Deputies are now treating it as a suspicious person. According to the sheriff's department, they have received reports regarding an individual with the same description from other sources over the past year.
The man is described as white, in his 30's, with dirty strawberry blonde hair, light eyes and a full facial beard. A quarter of the beard is also dirty strawberry blonde.
He was in a four door sedan, either a Honda or Toyota. It appeared to be an older, 'boxy' model. Deputies have released a surveillance picture of the car (at right).
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
