TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Police aren't giving up and neither are volunteers. On Thursday evening, more than a dozen gathered near Broadway and Craycroft to redistribute hundreds of flyers.

Light post after light post, volunteers papered the streets tonight with about 1,500 flyers.

They went to people's homes and even passed them out to strangers on the streets – all in the same area – for a second time.

The volunteers blame last week's dust storm for blowing many of the flyers away.

"We want to get those replaced because there was a lot destroyed in that storm," said volunteer, Rey Sanders.

Since Isabel Celis disappeared from her family's home nearly a month ago, organizers say more than 350,000 flyers have been distributed – and it doesn't end there – water bottles, banners, and other items with Isabel's name or picture on them are also being distributed.

"It's a parent's worst nightmare. If this were my child missing, I wouldn't want anyone to ever give up," said volunteer, Holly Hansen.

Giving up is no option for volunteers. They say they'll continue to distribute flyers until the 6-year-old is found.
