Rescuers respond to injured mountain biker

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Volunteers from the Southern Arizona Rescue Association have been called out to assist an injured mountain biker in the Santa Catalina Mountains.

Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Peine tells Tucson News Now, the cyclist, a man in his 20's, reportedly was hurt while riding on the Bug Springs trail, about 12 miles up the Catalina Highway.

Right now, there is no word on the man's condition.
