VAIL, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Medics have finished treating four children for minor injuries after something, possibly a rock, flew up and hit a Vail Unified school bus' windshield.

Corona de Tucson Fire's Todd Cuppell said the driver was not sure what, or how, something hit the windshield. Glass was found inside the bus, Cuppell said. The four children were treated for minor cuts.

Forty school children were on the bus, Corona de Tucson Fire's Todd Cuppell said.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Wentworth and Andrada.

Cuppell said the children were not taken to the hospital. They are waiting for parents or relatives to pick them up at the scene.
