Auburn Practice report

Posted: Updated:

AUBURN – Monday afternoon, the Auburn Tigers held a light practice in shorts at the Auburn Athletics Complex Practice Fields, beginning preparations for Saturday's SEC opener at Mississippi State. That contest, with an 11 a.m. CT kickoff, will be televised by ESPN.

With the Labor Day holiday giving students a break from classes on the Auburn campus, the Tigers spent most of the day in meetings and film study, turning their focus to the Bulldogs.

Auburn is now just 12 days away from its home opener at Jordan-Hare Stadium, when the Tigers host ULM on Saturday, September 15, in an 11:21 CT game.

Season tickets, six-game plans, three-game mini-packs and select single-game tickets for the 2012 Auburn football season are now available to the general public through the Auburn Athletics Department Ticket Office. All tickets can be purchased online at www.AUBTIX.com. For more information or questions regarding tickets, contact the ticket office by email at tickets@auburn.edu or by phone at 855-AUB-2010.

Don't worry. We'll be a lot nicer to the players in the SEC than the Emmy voters were to Netflix. We kind of have to - it's highly unlikely an actor could power clean the equivalent of a human being.
