This is Heather Rowe in the newsroom. You may remember I brought you an Animal Defenders story about greyhounds awhile ago.
I showed you some undercover video of Tucson Greyhound Park and told you about accusations of animal abuse that park officials denied. Now the park is back in the news for a different reason.
The race-track CEO told us they will shoot up greyhounds with steroids wherever they have to in order to keep the Tucson Greyhound Park race-track open.It is banned in the city and now greyhounds are being taken to Pima County.
So will Pima County say yes to injecting dogs with steroids even when the City of Tucson just banned it? The controversy is just beginning with this.
Bud Foster is looking for answers right now and will have more at 4.
And a life or death decision. Jurors have decided whether a convicted double murderer will be executed of behind bars until he dies. The answer at 4pm.
I would love to hear what you think about greyhounds being shot up with steroids on my facebook page... Just click here.
Scott and I will see you soon at 4pm,
